Enter the Dragon Davies!
Well, i've had ever such an exciting afternoon!I was invited by Newcastle University to sit on a panel of judges and have groups of Students pitch their ideas for a new Nutritional Food Snack to us! So it was kind of like a cross between The Apprentice and Dragons Den!I have to say some of the students were excellent! And some of the products they pitched, I would genuinely go and buy if they were available in the shops! It was all hypothetical (of course - very similar to when they do a task like this on the Apprentice) but... -

Kreavak - Dutch Trade Show
I'm sitting in Amsterdam airport waiting for a flight home - have spent an interesting few days in Arnhem (that's in the east of Holland) at the Dutch Trade show. It's the first time i've been to a trade show in Holland, and it was really interesting to see the trends, and how they differ (dramatically) from those in the UK. A lot of our products are distributed in Germany by Reddy (who many of you know for their die-cut decoupage selections which we bring to Create & Craft here in the UK). Reddy have recently entered into the Dutch... -
