Crafty afternoon

Good evening,

Hope you are all enjoying a lovely Bank Holiday Weekend. I have had my feet up with my crafty stuff today and I've been having a lovely "play". I've made these three cards from the SWALK CD and Stamps, which I just cannot put down and absolutely never tire of. I know I am biased, just a little, but I honestly think that this is the best range to be released this year, hows that for a statement!

This card has been layered with printed papers from the SWALK CD, the image and frame cut using a nestability. the punched border is a Martha Stewart and the Flower has been layered onto a Marianne Creatable die cut flower and attacked within an inch of its life with mica spritzers and glitter!

I have kept this one very simple with matting and layering from the SWALK CD, the plaid papers on this CD are my favourite'ist (if that's a word!) papers in the whole world! a punched border and a Marianne Createable butterfly complete the look.

I fancied a bit of a change with the third one, as I wanted to try the images with a dark background to see how they would work. I've used coredinations deep aubergine coloured card and DCVW Pocket Full of Posies paper for matting and layering. A piece of coredinations has been cuttlebugged and sanded to reveal the pattern. Finished with a a floral arrangement and a triple bow, tied on the Ultimate pro.

All images were coloured with copic pens, which in my opinion are the best you can get, as the skin colour's are absolutely Wow. All products to make these cards can be found on the Crafters Companion website.

I also promised to wave and say hello to Katerina, who ambushed me in the metro centre yesterday! (in the nicest possible way of course). We had a good old crafty gossip.

Enjoy the rest of your Bank Holiday whatever you are doing.

Leann x
