A Tutorial by Lynsey

Envelope Gift Box Tutorial

As promised we have another Tutorial for you from Lynsey a member of the Crafter's Companion Design Team.

Materials Needed:
One stamped and coloured image (I used SWALK 2 ‘Friends Like You’)
Scraps of Patterned Paper from SWALK 2 CD
2 Lengths of Ribbon
Paper Flowers printed from SWALK 2 CD
One C6 Envelope

First seal down your envelope and cut the top off. Next score a line at the sealed end of your envelope aprox 1cm up from the bottom. Then cut a slit from both bottom corners of the envelope up to the scored line so that your card looks like this:

Next put your hand inside the envelope and fold the bottom out to the scored lines and then glue the flaps to the bottom of your envelope so it looks like this:

Next punch two holes at the top of your envelope and thread your ribbon through to make your handles. Decorate with your patterned paper scraps and add your image. Finally attached your paper flowers to finish.

Hope you enjoyed Lynseys Tutorial and if you make a Bag following the steps please link back here so we can come and see your creation.
