A crafty night at Sara’s house...

Well we had a fantastic night last night, so I felt like I needed to share it with you!

Every year over Christmas, my friends and I have a ‘mother/daughter’ evening where we do something fun with our mums. Last year we went on a wine-tasting course, and the year before was an Abba tribute band, well this year, the popular request was to do a craft class! So I decided to re-run my project from this year’s craftaganza.

So here’s my friends all crowded round my dining room table getting into the swing of things cutting and sticking!

The look of concentration on everyone’s faces was unbelievable! In fairness, it was quite a challenging project for a group of absolute beginner crafters to embark on!

They were so proud of themselves when they finished! Here’s Meera (for those of you who know our staff well, that’s Kamala’s daughter) with Sophie’s Mum Kath...

And Laura and her mum Joan did fantastic too!

And my mum (Sue on the right) and my mother in law Val with the finished article!

Then we rounded the night off with a few glasses of wine and some nibbles, and a few rounds of ‘Articulate’ (our favourite game of the festive season!).

A great night was had by all! The problem is, now they are wanting to make a regular thing of it...!

Hope you all have a fantastic new year! Sara xx
