Spring is in the Air!

Well, can you believe it’s March already! Where is this year going!?! Some of you may already know, that every month we run a special challenge over on our dedicated challenge blog. Lots of our designers and guest designers make beautiful inspirational cards on a set theme (last month is was ‘Anything Goes’ and this month it’s ‘Spring’. If you want to enter the challenge (as I'm doing here) then all you need to do is post your creation within our theme onto your own blog, or facebook page, and then go to our challenge blog, and in the ‘InLinkz’ section at the bottom of the months post, click to enter your name, and also the link to your card (so that all of our other entrants can click over to your blog to have a look!).

At the end of the month we choose a winner at random – now if you use Crafter’s Companion products in your entry, then you get entered into the draw twice, so you have double the chance of winning! The winner will be sent a £30 gift voucher to spend on the Crafter’s Companion web site.

For my entry this month, sticking with the Spring theme, I’ve used the beautiful Canterbury Bell Fairy (and because I was a little short on time, I used the die-cut decoupage that we have from Reddy with these beautiful designs on). I used one of the papers from the Fairyopolis CD-ROM and some Core’dinations cardstock for the matting and layering, and even distressed it a little around the leaves of the flower.

And because im still really new-fangled with my Epiphany tools, I created a beautiful matching centrepiece for the centre of the bloom using the Epiphany Shape Studio Round 14 tool and matching bubblecaps. The punch was one of my Martha Stewart ones, and I used some old flowers from my flower drawer (I've got no idea where I've accumulated half of these from, all I know is that the collection has grown to ridiculous proportions over the past few years!)

If you want to see some of the beautiful cards our other designers have created, then click over to the Challenge blog for even more inspiration and you’ve got til 6pm on the last day of March to submit your entries, if you want to be in with a chance of winning the £30 voucher!

Happy Crafting!

Sara xx
