Well, I'm blogging from my hotel room over in Munich, Germany, as I'm on HSE-24 (the German shopping channel) for their special 'Bastelparty' (that means craft party in german!) day tomorrow!
It was a super early start this morning (3.30am!) but one of the good things about taking the early flight this time of year is that you get to see the sunrise above the clouds. This picture really doesn't do it justice, it was truly beautiful!
I have to say when we made or connection in Amsterdam I can't tell you how relieved I was to see our cases making their way onto the plane! I'd been my usual organised self, and left all my packing to the last minute, so I had to take all of my samples with me in my luggage instead of sending them ahead of time with the courier, so I DESPERATELY needed those samples to get there ok!
And yes that is my case going up the ramp - you could have guessed from the colour though!
The only problem with taking all my samples in the case, is that there's not much room for anything else! Poor Simon had to down-scale his stuff to just this... (it's a good job boys done need much stuff!) and at least unpacking only took him all of 15 seconds!
So anyway, after we arrived we went strait to the studios to set up! I'm on at noon with the Ultimate, Enveloplus and some Sizzix products so I set the ultimate table up first - I just LOVE this set of samples, they look so classy!
Then I'm on at 3pm with Paint Fusion - launching the Sunflower, Pansy and Tulip stamps, which I'm very excited about! I had my training with Sheena last week, so I'm feeling confident with these 3 flowers (although I have to be honest, I haven't had time to make any of my own samples this weekend, all the gorgeous ones you're seeing here are courtesy of the wonderful Linda and Nicola - thank you so much girls!)
I've also got shows with Popcorn the Bear - the first time we are doing a CD in Germany - so should be exciting! I've had some absolutely unbelievable samples from our design team, so i can't wait to get that show setup tomorrow afternoon, and I'll definitely take some pictures and share with you all!
Right, I'm off to make a few extra enveloboxes (as it turns out they don't travel so well in the hold of an airplane with lots of clothes and hairspray and the like squashed on top of them!) then an early night ready for the big shows tomorrow!
Wish me luck! Sara xx
