A Crafty Afternoon!

Evening everyone! Well i've had a lovely crafty afternoon so though i'd share some of my afternoon's work with you all!

I've got a busy weekend ahead next weekend - i'm doing the launch of our brand new Pick of the Week on C&C on friday at noon, and it's a fabulous new collection from Christine Haworth - seen as you guys loved her Paintbox Poppets range so much, we spoke with Christine and have worked with her to develop a CD ROM and some complimentary products using her fabulous Meadow Cottage Bears artwork.

So i've been busy getting my demonstrations ready thisafternoon - here's a simple decoupage one i've done...

And I always like to take a work in progress shot so you can see how the papers all come together nicely when i'm planning out the card...

Also, i'm very excited because i've been invited to a hen party next saturday evening - it's one of my friends who works at Ideal World, and i'm dashing off straight from my last show on the saturday (7pm - so it's going to be tight) so i thought i'd knock up a quick card just so she's got a little souvenir of the evening from me (after all, card making is what they all know me for down there so it would look a little bad if I turned up without a card!)

I used one of my favorite little stamps from the Strawberry Kisses range - it's the Party Girl set, and the papers and flowers are printed from the Strawberry Kisses CD ROM (it's great for quick embellishments!)

And I coloured the image with my Spectrum Noir pens (of course!!) - it was a nice quickie image to colour and here are the colours I used:
Pinks - PP1, 3, 5
Reds: DR3, 5
Yellows: CT1, 3
Greens: CG1, 2

Right - I'd better get back to it because i've got a mountain of demo's to finish prepping, and i've only barely just scratched the surface! I'll keep you posted this week!
