Sara's last bit of prep for tomorrow night!

Hi Everyone

Well, seen as I spent all weekend prepping for the Pick of the Day shows using the brand new Card Kit we've got, I figured I had better take out a bit of time today to get the cards prepped using the Stamps and the CD ROMs.

For my stamping demo, I just wanted to keep it simple so that I could take the time in the demo to concentrate on the colouring (as I now consider myself to be an 'intermediate' colourer-innerer with our Spectrum Noir pens!) :)

As always (in case we have any newbies reading the blog) I've stamped onto Neenah cardstock with a black memento inkpad...

And used the following colours:
Snowman Blue Shading: IB1
Snowman Hat and Scarf: EB3, EB6
Snowman Nose: OR1, OR2,
Boy Skin: FS2, FS4, FS8
Cheeks: CR3
Hair: TN7, TN9
Dressing Gown: TN5, TN6
Blue on Pyjamas: TB1, TB2
I used the Centura Pearl Snow White for the base card, and some Core'dinations from the Pastels selection we have. (The other bits are just from the bottom of my crafty drawers!!). It's a nice simple card, but I think it shows the image off well, and because it is such an iconic image, you don't want anything fussy going on in the background (or at least I don't think anyway!)

Then for the CD demo i've prepped i've just done some basic decoupage - the design is from the original Snowman Papercrafting CD ROM that we have, and i've printed onto our Decoupage Paper (because it has a lovely shine and is easy to cut).

I've used the Centura Pearl Snow White for the base card, and some Core'dinations from the Pastels selection again (just because it was easy as I had it to hand from the stamped demo!)

Now, to get you all in the mood for Christmas, and for the snowman, i've popped a little treat in here for you too... my absolute favorite clip from the movie!!!

I hope you can all join me for the launch tomorrow night at 9pm on Ideal World. The showtimes are 9pm and 11pm on tuesday (both on Ideal World) and then Wednesday on Ideal at 8, 10, 1, 4 ,7pm and on Create & Craft at noon, 3pm, 5pm (all subject to change of course, and stock permitting - which if it's anything like our Pick of the Week a the weekend, will mean I get to come home early!!)

Enjoy! Sara xxx
