Hey guys - I'm just waiting for my flight home, sitting in the lounge in Chicago's International Terminal and I've just been sent the pics from the classes we were running at CHA this week so I thought I'd share them with you!
It was a 2 hour class featuring our Spectrum Noir Pens and Jennie (who is in charge of our Education program's in the US) was leading the classes.
The setup was great because we had a live camera feed, and Jennie could explain what she was doing to the group, and they could see it projected onto the big screen. It was perfect for teaching such a large group of people.
The classes went down a storm, and people really learnt all about how to understand the system, and use the pens to their best advantage. I've arranged with Jennie that she's going to make a version of the class pack available for download on our Spectrum Noir website so of you're interested in doing the class (obviously remotely) then five us a few days to get it sorted, and you'll be able to download it and print onto specialist paper (I.e. Neenah) and work through the exercises to practice.
So while I'm here and talking about her, I'll introduce you properly to Jennie! She's been with our company since January, and she's an alcohol colouring specialist. She teaches all over the US and her work is regularly published in magazines.
This is her and me last night in Mortons at our (now customary) last night of the show special meal out. We had a lovely meal, but I ate WAY too much (the steak was by far enough on its own, the key lime pie I squished in for desert just tipped me over the edge and I'm paying the price this morning Ay my jeans don't fit!!)
Anyway, over breakfast this morning she was showing me an article that has just come out in one of the big Us magazines this week featuring one of our gorgeous Humphrey's Corner stamps - the Father's Day set
Right, I've only got 5 minutes now before we're boarding - I can't wait to be home! I've missed my own bed!
Big hugs until my next update! Sara xxx
