Just a quick update from me - I'm just sitting in the green room, having a cup of tea with Joanna Sheen, getting ready for the last show of the day at 8pm on Ideal World with Martyn Parker.
I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to share with you the sizes from the project I made in the last show... It's a tealight card holder to hold 4 candles in a slider drawer. It's an adaptation of the project on the advanced construction techniques DVD.
For the base drawer, you need to start with a sheet of card measuring 7 1/2 inches x 2 3/4 inches, and score on the box lid side of the boxer board at 5/8 inch depth.
Then for the main card, cut a piece to 11 5/8 x 6 1/2 inches. Score on the box base side at 1/2 inch, then crease, fold and butt again and score at 5/8, then crease and butt and score at 1 1/2, then crease and butt and score finally at 5/8 inch.
From the opposite edge score at 3.5 inches for the half way point.
You should find that the sider works well...
Hope you enjoy making it!
