Well, I don't know about everyone else, but i've had the most wonderful weekend!!! The weather has been nice, so Simon's been out golfing, so i've had some peace and quiet in the house and i've been able to spread my crafty stuff out all over the dining room and make a big crafty mess, and have loads of fun at the same time!
I've been preparing some finished samples and demo's for the launch we've got tomorrow of Angelica and Friends. It's a brand new license that we're bringing for the first time and there's a fabulous CD ROM, 9 beautiful stamps and some delicious papers!! You can read all about it in our e-newsletter if you click here
So, back to my fun weekend... I have to say, i've just got totally lost in the colouring! As I was saying in my earlier post, the stamps have lovely big open areas, so they are perfect for blending and shading.
When you look close up, you can see how i've been able to shade on the plantpot and the fairy dress. If you want to learn exactly how to do this, then make sure you record my shows tomorrow on Create & Craft - I'm launching at 8am tomorrow with Dean, and i'm back on again at 1pm and 5pm. The samples i'm sharing with you here are from the selection we'll all be showcasing this week (we've a very organised little team, I'm launching tomorrow, Leann is in on tuesday/wednesday, and Louisa on thursday, and we've all been chipping in with the demo's - i've focused more on the stamping ones this time around, but on the shows tomorrow i'll be featuring stamping, digital crafting and working with some of the fabulous new paper kits we're launching too!
I love this little cutetie as well... and you'll see in the middle of the faux-embellishments, there's a 3D bubble heart...
That's because we've got the Epiphany section on this CD ROM again because it's just been so popular! this one I used here is the mini Heart 14 tool and bubblecaps. It's really easy to use and i'll be showing you during the shows tomorrow.
Right, there's loads more card ideas floating around in this head of mine, and i've only got a few hours before I need to shoot off to catch my train tonight! See you all bright and early in the morning!!!
