Update from HSE Germany

Evening All!

Happy weekend! I don't know what everyone else has been up to, but i'm over on Germany as i've had shows on HSE Extra today. I took our Dawny over with me this time - i've got her in training! Well, she didn't know she was in training, she thought she was just coming over to help me setup the shows, but really i'm wanting to show her the ropes so that she can start doing some shows with me over here!

Poor thing... we arrived on Friday and she was busy helping me prepare tables looking happy as larry until.... the backstage people came and asked if she was ready.... "Ready for what"? she asked.. "Ready for your screen test" they said! Well she nearly died!

Good news is though she passed with flying colours! They just told her she needed to speak more slowly! So our next show is not until July, so she's got plenty of time to practice!

I forgot to take many other behind the scenes pictures, but I have got one here of my friend Angelika presenting her show just after me...

And this was our technical guy helping us get ready! He was ever so nice!

And because Simon wasn't here this time, I was the one in charge of packing the box! I did a good job - honestly!

So now we're back at the hotel relaxing - going to go for dinner later thisevening and then we fly home tomorrow lunchtime.  I've got a busy week ahead next week because we've got quite a few of the remote staff up in the office (Sarah being one of them - can't wait to catch up with Milsoppy, i've missed her!) and the girls are down covering Pick of the Week shows - i've heard from Leann it's been a really busy launch, and Louisa is getting ready to go down for the shows tomorrow!

Exciting times! More updates to follow soon! Sara xx

Loved the pics, I see you have the eBosser there have had mine a few weeks now and I love it, I was lucky enough to buy mine with the embossalicious folders and wow have been using it none stop. As usually ordered the new cd's first chance I could. Safe journey home and I'm sure they will love Dawns demos as much in Germany as we do.

Zapping through the TV channels here in Germany the other night (19th April) I stopped at HSE24 Extra when I spotted you on the screen. So I started watching and before I knew about 3 hours were gone. :) Was great to see you on German TV though I must admit that seeing you so often on Create and Craft tv (which, fortunately, I can pick up via the internet here ) it was a bit strange not to hear you talk but the interpreter. Must have been strange for you, too to hear the presenter talk in German all the time. Do they translate everything for you via earphone while you're on air? Loved your demos and it's great that some of the fantastic Crafter's Companion products are now also available in Germany. Please do post dates of future shows in Germany, and it will be great to see Dawn next time, too. Btw, do you also attend any craft shows in Germany? Keep up the great work. Love from Heidi in Germany
