On one of my shows yesterday a lady emailed in and asked if I could share the instructions on how I made the photo frame on air yesterday:
Basically, I used the backing card from some of the A4 embossalicious folders (mountboard would work equally as well, but you know us crafter's don't like to waste anything!) and cut them to size, with then a hole in the middle, and then covered them with papers. I did 2 of these - same outer size and one smaller than the other inside so you get that stepped effect when you glue them together:
Then I used some 3D foam tape and put it along the 2 sides and bottom of the frame so that it's raised (I actually used a double thickness of tape so it was raised about 3mm) and then stuck this to another piece of board covered with core'dinations.
Then to decorate, I used some of the printed embellishments off the CD ROM and I sprayed them with iridescent pink spray and sparkle (you can't really see on this picture)
I hope that's helpful and the lady who emailed in manages to find this post! Don't forget, we've got loads of shows going on this week on Create & Craft - Leann is on again at 4pm thisafternoon and then Dawn is on throughout the day on Wednesday and Thursday.
And I did say that for people leaving a comment on the previous post I would choose someone at random to send my card creation from yesterdays show out to... well, this si the comment I chose:
Hi Sara, what a fantastic Cd Rom.
It’s outstanding and so true to that lovely era.
Soooo feminine and delicate. I really enjoyed your show this morning.
I’ll certainly be watching at 1 and 6pm today. Your demo this morning was gorgeous. You’re a
very talented lady. Thank you so much for your inspiration and hard work.
Crafty hugs, xx
