Designer Spotlight: Bianca Shervington

This week it's Bianca Shervington's turn in the Designer Spotlight this week! Read all about her:

"I have been crafting for many years now, I would consider myself an eclectic crafter as I like so many aspects of it. Even when it comes to card making I enjoy CD crafting just as much as my stamping. Colouring is a massive favourite of mine and I love to relax of an evening colouring in lots of images ready to make into cards. I was sent a message from the lovely Leann Chivers over a year ago who asked me to join the CC DT after seeing my cards that I had shared on Facebook and I have loved every minute of it...it truly is an honour and a privilege!

I have always loved Crafter's Companion products in fact my first crafty purchases were a CD-ROM and a score board and my crafty stash has certainly grown since then!! I recently was also asked to join the Spectrum Noir DT which was very exciting for me."

And here are a few of Bianca's favourite projects:

"This card was made using a stamp from the Angelica and Friends range along with backing paper from the CD-ROM. The image was coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens and made into topper using a frame die from the Die'sire range."

"This card was made using a Faerie Poppet stamp and coloured in with Spectrum Noir pens the baking paper is from the coordinating CD-ROM. The paper was embossed with the Open Rose embossalicious folder. I also used a border die from the die'sire range."

"My last make is totally different to the previous two and something I really enjoyed making. When the Die'sire Quilling Dies first came out we were asked to make samples that were a little different...so being a florist I couldn't resist making an arrangement. The flowers were made using an assortment of quilling dies using Core'dinations card stock."

Bianca also shared some fabulous crafty tips with us:

-- "I don't tend to buy lots of different coloured pearls and gems I much prefer to colour my own with my spectrum I even have a large stash of white ribbon to hand so I can colour that too."

-- "I always keep a little notebook to hand where I can jot down ideas and sketches for cards in case I have a day when I have no mojo."

-- "I also keep note of colour combinations when colouring with my Spectrum Noir pens to refer back to."

Bianca brings so much creativity to our team, and we always look forward to her work!
