Well, i've got some exciting news!! If you remember, last year I did some live colour-a-longs with our Spectrum Noir pens (to show those of you who were perhaps more of a beginner to intermediate colourst - like myself! that it is actually really easy!).
Anyway, they were so well received, that i've decided we should run a whole colouring weekend this weekend, and I'll post a colour-a-long tutorial here on my blog every evening starting tomorrow! (so thats one tomorrow (friday), then one on Saturday and one again on Sunday) each at 6pm on the evening. We'll start with the beginner tutorial tonight, then move onto intermediate and advanced on Sunday (and when I say advanced, it's still very basic colouring, just we're progressing as we build up!)
The plan is - i'll show you the image we are colouring and the list the pen colours we are using so that you can stamp the image ready (don't forget to stamp onto Neenah cardstock with a memento inkpad) or alternatively, if you don't have that specific image, i'll provide the digi image for you to use which will be watermarked - so you can still practice the technique). If you are printing, remember to still print onto Neenah cardstock.
If, like me, you like to work off a close up, then here's the image up close:
Here's the Spectrum Noir colours you'll need:
For the Panda: IG6, IG9, IG10, Cheeks: PP2
Stars: CT1, CT3, CT4
Blue Blanket: TB1, TB2, TB3
And if you don't have the image, here's the digi to download... (it's sized to an A4 sheet, so click on the below image, and then save it onto your computer, and then if you print this just hit 'print to scale' on your printer setup and you'll get multiple ones to print)
So, all you need to do now is stamp the design (or print the digi) and tune in here at 6pm tomorrow evening (Friday 27th September 2013, or if you're reading this later click onto what should be the next post!)
And I NEED to be updated with how you get on! I want to hear all about it (you can use the comments option below) - I want to know who is colouring what and how they are getting on!!!
Have fun with it, and of course when you tune in tomorrow to watch the tutorial, i'll also release information about the next image, the colours you'll need etc, and we'll move onto the intermediate stage!
