A fond farewell to Dawn

Sad news from Crafter's Companion HQ today... Dawn Wheeler will be leaving us for pastures new at the end of August.

dawn
Since early 2013, Dawn has regularly driven through wind, rain and snow (along with the now infamous traffic and roadworks around Mansfield!) to present shows featuring our crafting goodies from the Create & Craft studios in Peterborough. Like us, many of you will have enjoyed the charisma and pizzazz she brought to launches like Camden Town, Angelica and Adam, The Snowman and Barkley!

dawntv
Lots of you will also have met Dawn at the numerous demo days and shows she's attended over the last year or so.

dawnshows
Dawn's warm and friendly personality will be deeply missed by all the team and as the sun sets on Dawn's time at Crafter's Companion, we hope you'll join us in wishing her the very best of luck for the future!

Ah so sad, I have loved Dawn since she first appeared on oiur screens with Kanban. I had never purchased any crafters companion items until she came on board, so i can blame her for my dwindling bank balance. I do hope you are going on to do something amazing and that I will still get to chat to you at the NEC in November. love and hugs Elaine xxx

I think everyone like myself who has watched Dawn on Ideal World & Create and Craft these last few years will miss the professionalism, skills and her smile. I wish her good luck on her next adventure, and I am sure we will all be happy to see her again soon as a presenter.

Wow was sad to hear your leaving as you are an amazing demonstrater, your always smiling and laughing which makes it more enjoyable to watch. What amazed me the most about you is that you admitted on create and craft that you were dyslexic. Myself and my daughter who is 10 have dyslexia I said look at Dawn she's just like you and she's on tv. I explained to my daughter school is hard but let dyslexia make you stronger not hold you back. My daughter now has a list of things she wants to do and been like Dawn is one of them. Whenever you go you'll bring sunshine and smiles with you, and whatever you do you'll succeed
