This project is made from a sheet of A3 Centura Pearl card which has been trimmed to approx. 30cm x 30cm.
Centura Pearl card has been used to give the box stability.
The finished box measures 22cm x 10cm x 4cm.
Step 1: Centura Pearl card measures approx 29.8cm wide. Working from the top score line of your Big Score Board, score the card 4cm in from each edge of card.
Step 2: Turn your card and score on the vertical at 2cm, 6cm, 16cm, 20cm. Fold and score all lines.
Step 3: Begin your box construction by cutting bottom tabs as shown.
Step 4: Turn your card and remove pieces shown to create box lid and flap.
Step 5: Print out your Moonbeam Meadow Christmas designer paper sheet from the CD-ROM to create the panels for your box. Satin Smooth Printer Paper was used for this.
The panels should measure:
21cm x 9cm for front and back of box.
21cm x 3cm for lid and 9cm x 3cm for each side
For this project a topper has been selected from the Moonbeam Meadow Christmas CD-ROM. This was printed on watercolour card and placed on a mat of Centura Pearl Platinum card on the front of the box.
Step 6: Add adhesive to box bottom flaps and attach these to the inside of the flaps on the back of the box.
Step 7: Apply adhesive to the front flaps of the box and fold into place over the back folds.
Step 8: Here's how the box looks when bottom and side folds are glued.
Step 9: The box construction with topper.
Step 10: Fold down top of box.
Step 11: Decorate as desired.
