DOWNTON ABBEY RANGE SET FOR LAUNCH
Crafter’s Companion has unveiled that it will launch the official Downton Abbey papercrafting collection next week.
The launch coincides with the eagerly-anticipated final series of the hit TV show on Sunday 20th September, which has become the most successful British drama ever created.
In what is being described as Crafter’s Companion’s biggest ever licensed product launch event, the company has developed a range that’s first offering consists of embossing folders, metal dies, a triple CD set, and unmounted rubber stamps.
The new range will be launching on Monday 21st September, the morning following the showing of the first episode.
Sara Davies, founder and sales director at Crafter’s Companion, said: “This is without doubt one of the most exciting launches we have ever been involved in as it involves an absolute blockbuster of a show that people adore.
“The papercrafting collection we have developed for Downton Abbey is simply exquisite so fans of the TV series can create beautiful craft projects in the style of their favourite characters.
“We believe this fabulous new range will go down a storm with our crafters over the next few months as momentum builds around the show,” added Sara.
Set in an Edwardian country house at the turn of the 20th Century, Downton Abbey portrays the lives of the Crawley family and the servants who work for them. Full of splendour and passion, romance and heartbreak, scandal and rumour, the show is one of the most successful British drama exports to date.
The critically acclaimed and multiple award-winning series has become a worldwide phenomenon with average viewing figures in excess of 10 million in the UK alone.
