Tutorial: Introducing Love & Romance!

BLOG_IG_LOVE CARDS 2_014

I am SO thrilled to let you in on sneak peeks of my brand new Love & Romance range, the next additions to my Signature Collection! This range is different, because for the first I'm including papercrafting elements like metal, charms, ribbons and paper doilies to take your cards & projects to the next level!

Are you ready for a tutorial? I was busy doing all sorts of prepwork over the Christmas break, and even though I'm flying over to the US today for a trade show I scheduled this ahead of time because I can't wait any longer to share!

Step 1: Trim A4 hammered card to 5 1/2" x 11", score and half fold. (Have you got some of this hammered card yet? It is amazing - the texture is brilliant!!)

Step 2: Select and trim 4 co-ordinating papers to 2" squares, affix to card front.

Step 3: Trim 4 x hammered card to 2 1/2" square. Next, die-cut a heart into the centre of each one, affix to card front using foam pads

Step 4: Using only the 'Love' word die from I Love You, die-cut using co-ordinating paper, affix to card front to finish.

Tip: Experiment with different papers or embossed card under the hearts for a completely different look

I used these supplies on this card (I'll be back to ad links to the Love and Romance goodies as soon as they're available on our website!):
