Tutorial: I Love You Card

For this tutorial I'm using the same dies and inks I used in yesterday's post, but in an ever-so-slightly different way, which gives you a totally different result! Are you ready to get started?

Ouh - if you've missed any of the tutorials I've shared for my entire Signature Collection, you can see them all here!

Gather these supplies:

And here's how to put it together:

Step 1: Transfer Distress ink (I really love Victorian Velvet, as it's such a soft pink!) around the edges of a 6" x 6" card blank.

Step 2: Trim white card to 5 3/4" square, die-cut lace heart (just the centre die) into the centre of card. While the die is still in place, transfer ink though the die and around the edges.

Step 3: Die-cut 'I Love You', transfer Picked Raspberry (using a deeper tone here than the Victorian Velvet I used earlier really helps to set it off!) through the die (using the dies as a stencil, like we did yesterday).

Then affix to card front to finish.

Tip: Using the lace heart without the scalloped heart outer die will give a fresh contemporary feel to your cards!

Do you like this version? I'd love to hear what you think! And be sure to see the rest of my collections:

Crafty hugs,
Sara xx
