Crafter’s Companion has announced the exciting news that it is set to make Hochanda, The Home of Crafts, Hobbies and Arts, its new TV shopping home.

The craft company will make the big move on March 3rd, celebrating with lots of new products launching across a mammoth 100 live hours airing throughout March.

As part of the celebrations of the new partnership, Sara Davies will be exclusively unveiling the latest range in her Signature Collection in a huge Crafter’s Companion week-long takeover event.

Throughout March crafters will be able to see new machines, Die’sire die collections, Debbie Shore sewing accessories, Sheena Douglass art products and the latest Spectrum Noir colouring products launching live on air by the hugely popular Crafter's Companion TV team - founder Sara Davies, Leann Chivers, Debbie Shore, Fiona Clayton and Sheena Douglas.

Sara Davies said: “We are delighted to be moving to Hochanda and our team is thrilled to be launching several exciting new products live as part of our launch event.

“We have been really impressed with Hochanda’s customer-focused approach since launching. Our aim is to work closely together with their team to deliver crafters the best products at the best prices.

“Given the channel’s focus on educating and inspiring crafters and hobbyists, it fits very well with our brand and the way we engage with the craft community.”

Hochanda is a fast-growing live broadcast and internet TV (IPTV) home shopping channel dedicated to crafts, hobbies and arts. It airs live on Sky 663, Freeview channel 39 and Freesat channel 817.

Founder of Hochanda Paul Wright said: “Sara and her team at Crafter’s Companion are one of the most well-respected and exciting craft suppliers in the sector, so to have them on board is a great asset for Hochanda.

“We expect thousands of excited crafters from across the UK to tune-in to Hochanda on the 3rd March to welcome Crafter’s Companion to their new TV shopping home.”

It's a busy, but exciting time ahead for Crafter's Companion as this news comes just after the announcement of its plans to open a retail outlet and education hub next to their new offices.

The hope is that this new centre will attract more people into craft and also provide a dedicated area for like-minded crafters to come, get creative and learn new techniques.

“We expect thousands of excited crafters from across the UK to tune-in to Hochanda on the 3rd March to welcome Crafter’s Companion to their new TV shopping home.”

The news comes hot on the heels of Crafter’s Companion unveiling plans to open its own retail outlet in the North-East in a bid to attract more people into craft and provide a training centre for independent craft retailers through a Retail Centre for Excellence.

Thank goodness for that Sara it will be brill to see such talented crafters being allowed to do what they do best instead of having to put up with the focus being on the presenters especially the one who loves himself MrDW

  • pauline

  • Ruth Mahaffey

Fabulous news... Wish you all the best with this new venture. I have been increasingly disheartened by create and craft, so will be great to see my favourite company on a channel I can watch!

thats brilliant news. have been disappointed with C and C for a while now. Watch the Craft Chanel more these days. I absolutely love Crafters Companion. I bought the very first Floral CD that Sara made nearly 10 years ago, I think. I cant wait to have a channel with more Crafters Companion on it. Roll on 3rd March !!!!

  • Betty Gaughan

I cannot understand why people do not like choice. I think it's great since we have had three channels. As for postage I remember when c ad c first started postage was £4.95 even for a cd. I purchase from crafters comp as I find them more helpful than c and c also I do not pay postage. Live and let live, Sara owes c and c nothing . Good luck and it will be interesting tonseevwhat happens.

  • emma
