Want to make your own party favour bags? This tutorial from Emily will show you how! Just fill them with party treats ready to hand out!
You could change the image on these to customise them for boys and girls, or to use for more than just a birthday party! What will you use them for?
Crafter's Companion Supplies:
Step 1: Align a 11” x 8.5” piece of card stock at the first lines of Box Base and Box Lid.
Step 2: Score 2 at the lines as marked.
Step 3: Fold in the two edges together.
Step 4: To make the bottom of the bag, align one of the opening to box base and score at line 4 from far right.
Step 5: Fold this end up as seen in picture
Step 6: Unfold everything and stamp your image. In the picture at the top of the post, the image was coloured with Specturm Noir markers EB5, PL1, BT5, BT4, BT2, CT2, and GB5.
Tip: You can stamp the image last, but I found it easier to stamp now because you can lay the card stock flat.
Step 7: Fold your bags according to the score lines and glue them together
Step 8: At the base, fold in the sides.
Step 9: Fold in the bottom flap.
Step 10: Fold in the remaining flap.
Step 11: Glue them together. Put an object or push your hand on the bottom of the bag to straighten it out.
Step 12: Fold the top of your bag and punch two holes for twine or ribbon.
