Oliver's Sleepover

Oliver's friend Finley came for a sleepover last night! My day off is a Thursday so made sense for a Wednesday night and Finley's Mam has another baby 5 months old so I thought it would be a bit of a rest for her to be able to have a relaxy morning instead of running around after a toddler! It's hard work...trust me!

here he is

They were honestly good as gold! We all had a lovely tea together, story time and Oliver couldn't believe Finley would STILL be there when his Gro-clock told them it was morning! Aww!!

I had to have a giggle to myself this morning when I heard them chatting at 6:30am! I think baby monitors are fantastic for capturing moments like this...bless them!

caught ya!

So....Oliver's first sleepover was such a success! Thankfully! We all got up bright an early and enjoyed some fun in the sun in the garden this morning!

What's the biggest number you've had over for a sleepover? Would you do it again! Share your stories with me on my Facebook Page, Twitter or comment below!

Purple hugs...from Me, Oliver and Finley xxx

Awwwww, sooo cute!! A long time since my lad was that age. He still loved having sleep overs into his early teens, the largest number for a sleep over was three, when he was about 9 or 10. His three best friends, two boys and a girl, so that was a bit of a logistical problem! They wanted me to tell them scary stories before bed time! It'll be something funny for me to remember when I'm in my dotage.

As my boys got older and started going out on a night i would get up to a load of bodies all over my living room, the boys friends decided to crash out at our house. Good old days I miss the boys when they left home so enjoy Oliver and you new baby because you will blink and they are all grown up x

Aww so sweet Sara you can see they thoroughly enjoyed themselves, you will be having more sleepovers now, Jodie used to have her friend stay over quite a few times when they were younger, they were no trouble too.

Oh that's lovely!! Bless them!! We had our grandson, Henry, stay over with us on Thursday night!! We were building Tsum Tsum towers before he went to sleep!! The next morning was bright and sunny, so we were out in the garden with the bubble machine - Grandma was chasing the bubbles too!! Thank you for sharing Sara!! xx

Used to love sleepovers, The last ones, when they were older involved camping in the garden and sausage butties for breakfast and a little adult supervision if they getting to loud in the night.
