Tutorial: Use your die cuts as stencils

Die cuts are so versatile! Soraya made a stencil from her die cuts to create this stunning tag! You could use this technique on so many different projects and we all love to get as much use as possible from our crafty stash right? Plus as a bonus the freebies from the Crafter's Inspiration magazine Issue 10 were used on this tag! Keep on reading and follow Soraya's step by step tutorial to create your own fabulous project!

Step 1: Cut a piece of mount board 3x5" and cut the two corners on the top diagonally about 1/2"

Step 2: Die cut a piece of cardstock with the Downtown Abbey Decor die and use as a stencil to add colour to the tag.

Step 3: Dab Distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey and Mustard Seed in different areas but evenly over half of the piece.

Step 3

Step 4. Stamp "love" in the bottom left corner with Stazone Jet Black.
