Using the Flourishing Flakes embossing Folder!

I am just SO excited about the launch of the Contemporary Christmas range tonight that I wanted to share with you another tutorial, this time using one of the gorgeous embossing folders! This card is quite simple to make but really effective!

Materials:

Sara`s Contemporary Christmas - Snowflakes of Joy, Flourishing flakes embossing folder, Luxury Ribbon, Collall all purpose, Broken China distress ink, A5 card blank, Brayer

To Create:
1. Using a brayer, roll distress ink Broken China over the inside cover of embossing folder Flourishing flakes, then emboss onto the bottom half of trimmed A5 card

11

2. Affix embossing card onto the front of an A5 card blank, then affix the luxury ribbon.

22

3. Die-cut each snowflake, using snowflakes of joy die, then affix on top of one another to get a layered effect, and adhere a gem to the center to give the card a real luxury feel.

33

4. Affix snowflakes and a ribbon bow to finish

44

Watch out for more tutorials after the launch! Don't forget to tune into the show tonight, 8pm on HOCHANDA, I am just about to get the train down there now!

See you soon! Sara xxx

Oh yes Sara, love it, got to have a go at this one, I must say the new collection is your best yet, I thought the wedding one was the best but really this beats that, fantastic.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

I ordered the collection as soon as the show started couldn't watch it but didn't need to as I knew it was going to be fabulous having seen some of the cards made for the show. Bought some of the traditional dies at Sandown so can't wait to get cracking. I make lots of cards for Macmillan so hoping these will fly out of my box. I take them to my fitness classes and just ask people to take what they want and make a donation. Last year I made £152 from just three classes. The year before I had an eve with cake etc and made £722.50 in the one evening. I think people were generous because I was in the middle of my chemotherapy; card making kept me busy. I am thinking the angel die from traditional set will make a lovely Breast Cancer awareness Christmassy card when mixed with this new set. Happy crafting fellow crafters. x
