It might be sunny outside but I just can’t stop making Christmas cards! Here is another tutorial, this time I have used the snowflake embossing folder and snowflake metal charms from the Contemporary collection. The metal charms are a lovely touch to finish off any card!
1. Start with a sheet of centura pearl and cut to 5 inch wide, score in half to make the base card. Cut a sheet of blue centura pearl to fit onto the base card.
3. Then cut a small piece of white card to fit onto the top of the card, Stamp the merry Christmas stamp in dark blue ink and place a strip of ribbon around the bottom of the piece of card before sticking it onto the vellum.
4. Make a bow with the same ribbon from the collection and place on top of the ribbon on the left side, Die cut and emboss two of the holly leafs in white card and place sticking out of the bow and add one of the metal snowflake charms under the bow
What do you think? I think metal charms really add the wow factor, definitely a card for the people you want to show off to!
Lots of Love
