You can still mix Traditional and Contemporary!

Because using one Christmas collection just isn’t enough  I have decided to do a tutorial to show how you can use both Contemporary and Traditional Christmas to make the most fabulous Christmas cards. Enjoy!

To Create:

1. Cut a sheet of kraft card in half and then score in half to make the card base.

a
2. Cut a sheet of white to fit onto the card base leaving a boarder and emboss with the embossing folder, the glue down to the card base along with a strip of ribbon.

b
3. Add a mat and layer of kraft card and white card again to the centre of the card leaving a wide boarder, distress the edges with vintage photo distress ink, glue down with 3d glue to give it some height.

c
4. Die cut and emboss the sleigh but before realising ink through with the same distress ink, stamp and cut out a few of the pine cone and holly leafs, place them in the back of the sleigh using 3d glue.

d
5. Stamp out the Merry Christmas in a brown ink pad and layer onto some kraft card, trim the sides and bottom and then glue under the sleigh.

There you go….don’t be afraid to mix up the collections….if you are lucky enough to have both!

Happy Crafting!
