What could be more fun than to plan a cocktail party on New Years Eve, the most important thing to organise is a cocktail menu. So once you have decided which cocktails you will be serving, here is a very easy tutorial to make your menu from designer Donna Mosely. Donna tells us she had great fun researching what to put on her menu! Lol!
Step 1: Take an A4 piece of black cardstock and score 7.5cm from both ends, this will create a gatefold card.
Step 2: Print off 3 sheets of A4 patterned papers from the Catitudes CD-ROM . Cut a 14.2cm x 20.5cm piece (this is for the inside back). Cut 4 7cm x 20.5cm (these are for both flaps inside & out). Glue these in place.
Step 3: Create a menu on the computer and a topper for the front. Print off both.
Step 4: Trim the menu and adhere to the inside. Die cut the balloons twice each and attach to the inside flaps.
Step 5: Take another piece of black cardstock and trim 6.5cm piece from the length. This will create a wrap around. Mat some of the patterned paper onto this and wrap the whole thing around the closed menu ( making sure it isn’t too tight ).
Step 6: Die cut the topper for the front and a black scallop circle using the circle dies from the Circle Accordion set. Layer up and attach to the wrap.
Step 7: Die cut two champagne glasses out of black cardstock and adhere to front of the wrap. Add some gems to finish.
