Even though we all try very hard to have our Christmas cards ready well in time for the big day, we often find ourselves a couple of days before busy making cards! So, here is a very easy Polar bear themed card to make with step by step instructions from designer Donna Mosley. A good job really with all the other stuff we have to do! Furthermore, you could easily change the theme using other papers and embellishments to make this style of card for many other occasions!
See how to create this gorgeous card with directions and all products used below:
Step 1: Using the largest die out of the Stacey Create-a-Card Base dies create a Kraft card base. Score the front in half to create a fold back card. Attach patterned paper printed from the CD and cut using the Stacey dies to the back & fold back as shown.
Step 2: Cut a piece of Kraft to measure 22.7cm x 3.2 cm, score & fold in half and then score & fold one of the halves in half again. Affix patterned paper to the sections, then attach to the card as shown.
Step 3: Print off some of the toppers & sentiments from the CD, cut out 1 of the sentiments, attach to a strip of acetate then affix to card to create a floating sentiment. Cut out a polar bear and some baubles. You can then. attach to the card as shown, then add some string bows to finish.
Here is a list of the supplies Donna used to make her card, have fun making some of your own!
