Create a fun gift box with that 60's feeling! This is perfect for any music lover! Having a 60's party? You could use it as a party bag and fill it full of fun things linked to the 60's for your guests as they leave! Chrissie shows you step by step how she created this fun box in her tutorial below, let's get started!
Step 1: Trim two pieces of white cardstock to 5.5 x 5.5.
Step 2: Stamp the image in black in. Cover with clear embossing powder and activate with a heat gun. This will protect the ink from bleeding.
Step 3: Use The Big Score to create the box top. Using the Box Lid side, count 4 lines over.
Step 4: Repeat the same score on all four sides.
Step 5: Using the other piece of cardstock, create the bottom using the Box Base side of the Big Score Board. Count 4 lines over, the same as the lid. This way, the lid and base will match.
Step 6: On the lid and the base, trim out triangles on the score line on all four sides.
Step 7: Place the stencil over the card base. Secure down the lid and the stencil using repositionable tape so it does not move.
Step 8: Add ink using a dauber. Use multiple colours to create a tie dye effect.
Step 9: Colour in the stamped image using Spectrum Noir markers.
Step 10: Assemble the box. Fold on all score lines and add adhesive to the edges. Fold in and secure.
Step 11: Repeat the same process for the base. Fold on all score lines and secure box together using adhesive.
