Are you planning on creating birthday cards for special spring birthdays this month? Look no further than our tutorial of the month from the lovely Suzi who shows you how to create a cute lollipop card that can be used for all occasions.
Crafter's goodies you'll need to create:
Directions to create your lollipop card:
Step 1. You will need one 12" x 3" and 8" x 3" strip of paper, with the long side to the top of your score board score at every uneven centimetre, 1,3,5,7 etc turnpaper over and score at every even centimetre 2,4,6,8, etc this makes it easier to fold into a concertina shape. Do exactly the same with the smaller section of paper. Once folded glue both together.
Step 2. Die cut or hand cut a circle and add a generous amount of Collall 3d glue, place your rosette onto the circle using a weight to keep it flat while the glue is drying.
Step 3. Die cut the Lacy doily from Sara Signature Shabby Chic collection and use Spectrum noir CT1 pen to colour the edge. Cut our a larger circle to place on the back of your rosette in order to write your message/sentiment.
Step 4. Flatten the top of your straw and add some glue, insert straw behind the rosette, turn over and decorate the front of your lollipop card with the embellishments and die cuts chosen.
We hope you have fun recreating this lollipop card! Please share your creations with us!
