Get to grips with Quilling!

What better way to block out the cold and rain than to take a little Spring with you? You can do just that by creating stunning quilled flowers with our new Die'sire range.

Paper quilling designs are beautiful and fun to create with quilling flowers being one of the most popular quilling designs.

Paper quillled flowers are stunning look at and finish off a card perfectly. They may look difficult to make but they are in fact very easy if you know how.

Before we get started:

There are some basic tools and materials for paper quilling which you will need to make fringed flowers. See our latest range of quilling dies that make it easy for you to cut multiple petals and stamens at the same time!

craft glue or a tape pen

Make this stunning paper tag to brighten up any gift box or gift bag. Follow Oksana's step by step tutorial and give this a go!

What you'll need to complete this project:

Step 1:

Die cut 1 each of the Carnation Duo Flower petals from Orange card and 2 of the textured stamens from black card. Apply red liner tape across as shown.

Step 2: Using a quilling tool, roll up the stamens and petals to form a flower. To see how to do this - click here for a video!

Step 3: Using the Regency Swirls embossing folder, emboss some white card and create a tag.

Step 4: Die cut some leaves using the Assorted Leaves die from green card.

Step 5: Adhere the leaves and flower to the tag. Stamp the sentiment and die cut using the oval die. Layer onto a die cut scalloped oval cut from black card and add to the card.. Thread through the ribbon to complete the tag.

We hope we have inspired you to take up quilling for your New Year, New Skill! Share your creations with us over on our Facebook page! We'd love to see them.
