How to make

1 Print out the template and cut out all the parts.

2 Draw around the Base 1, Base 2 and Lid onto a piece of blue cardstock. Cut out, score the dash lines and rub away any pencil lines.

3 Fold the score lines on the main base and stick one of the sides to the bottom tab then the sides.

4 Repeat with the other side.

5 Take the inside divider and fold the score lines, add glue to the tabs and glue to the inside of the box.

6 Print out patterned paper from the Peacock download. Use the template to cut out the decorative panels and draw around them onto Peacock patterned paper. Cut out all the pieces.

7 Stick the sides onto the box and the front, then wrap around a ribbon with the ends at the back. Add the panels to the lid and stick to the box, gluing the back panel on last to hide the lid tab and ribbon ends.

8 Decorate the stationery box on the outside with a topper, die-cuts and add a bow to the ribbon.

9 Finish by filling the stationery box with tags, simple cards and a matching decorated notebook with pen.

Note Holder by Mel Jess

How to make

1 Cut a piece of card measuring 5x5” and score at 1” on all sides. Fold the score lines, cut notches and glue to form the Post it Notes drawer.

2 Take a piece of card 3¼ x 11” and score at 4”, 8”, 9” and 10”. Fold and concertina the smaller folds to create a stand and glue to form.

4 Create a pocket from a piece of card 5 ¼ x 4” and score at ½”, 1”, 4 ¼” and 4 ¾” on the long side, and at ½” and 1” on the short side.

5 Fold the score lines, cut away the two small scored squares from each side then cut up the other score lines. Fold together to create a half pocket.

6 Cover both sides of the stand with patterned paper and glue the pocket to one side and the drawer to the other.

7 Decorate the front of the pocket with papers and embellishments and cover the sides of the drawer with patterned paper. Add die-cut letters to the drawer side, adding more embellishments and gems.

8 Add a decorated matching notebook and pencil to the pocket and fill the drawer with Post it Notes.

Top tip

Check the width of your Post it Notes will fit the drawer. If not, measure and add 2”, 1” for each side to score. Your stand is ¼” bigger than the drawer so add that when making the stand and add 2” for the pocket as it has 1” inch for each side score at the ½”.
