Hi, it’s Louise here (or ‘My Louise’ if you’re Leann!)! I’m just on my way home from a busy weekend in Holland, teaching classes using the Spectrum Noir pens at an Open House for our European distributors! It’s basically like a trade show, but suppliers like Crafter’s Companion are able to hold classes and demonstrations to explain more about some of our products.
Whilst I was busy with the pens, my good friend Margaret was on hand to demonstrate the Ultimate Pro to the Open House visitors. Before the show started, Margaret and I took to the canal to see the sights – look at this gorgeous windmill we saw!
Then it was straight to work! Here’s my table all set up for my first class of the day…
My class taught the store owners how to colour the fabulous Little Madam stamp set from the first S.W.A.L.K. range we launched. Similar colour-a-longs to this sheet can be found on the Spectrum Noir web site, in the Downloads section. They take you through each step of the colouring, which is really handy when you’re a beginner colourer-innerer (to coin a Sara-ism)!
Whilst I was busy setting up the class, Margaret was busily preparing her samples table – don’t they just look fabulous?!
After one of my classes finished, I snuck up on Margaret and took a picture of her mid-demo!
I’ve had a fantastic few days in Holland, but am almost back home now… time to get some sleep before heading back in to the office first thing!
Bye for now!
