I’ve just come to tell you all about the card I’m submitting for the November Challenge, and I realised that I never shared my October card with you!
If you haven’t already entered the October Challenge, then there’s still a day or so left! The theme was ‘birthdays’ so I used one of our lovely little Toread images. This is one of the Rocker Cards from the Toread CD, but I used it as a Topper instead of folding it into an actual Rocker Card.
Then the November theme is ‘Favourite Colours’ so of course I had to my card in pink and purple!
I absolutely adore this little stamp (as you’ll have realised if you watched any of my shows last week – she was the one I kept going to again and again to colour!) – it’s the Smile Stamp from the Mulberry Wood Everyday Collection.
And to create a frame – i’ve used one of my favourite Die’sire Dies – the Magic Mirror Die. I find it’s easier to cut a frame on neenah card and then stamp into the centre (the rock a blocks are perfect because they are semi-transparent so you can see right through!)
I’ve coloured using my Spectrum Noir pens (of course) and I find the Tan’s are a lovely blend for the little teddy bear, and her frock looks lovely here in pink, but I coloured it a few times last week in turquoises – look here’s one I did so you can see the difference…
Right – if you want to find out more about how the challenge works, then you need to hop over to our Challenge Blog… it’s completely free to enter, and you could be in with a chance of winning a £30 voucher to spend on our website!
Happy Crafting! Sara xxx
