Well, i’m writing this just a few days after Christmas, but i’m back dating it to when I made these cards. I couldn’t share this with you any sooner because I know both my mum, and mum-in-law check my blog to see what i’ve been up to, so I couldn’t show you their cards early now could I!?!
So this is the card for my mum and dad…
I took my inspiration from the class Leann taught at Craftaganza this year! She loves the Strawberry’s Kisses stamps (and I love them too because they are easy to colour!) This stamp is the ‘Together Forever’ one from the Christmas Range, stamped onto Neenah Cardstock and coloured with our Spectrum Noir pens, and then I die-cut the finished shape using one of our Die’sire Frame Border Dies.
Then for my in-laws…
I just think this image from the Mulberry Wood Christmas CD ROM is so cute! I kept it really simple, used papers from the same CD ROM, matted onto more Core’dinations (this time from the Pastels Pack) all matted onto Centura Pearl Snow White again (it’s a real staple for me!). The border is again cut into Core’dinations using our Die’sire Lace Border Die 4.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t get around to making as many of my special cards this year (you’ll see I was making all my presents instead – read some of the other posts!) but I think the folks all appreciated the work!!!
Hope you all had a lovely christmas too!!!
