Snowman update from Peterborough

Morning everyone!!

I’m just sitting on the couch in the flat at peterborough with Create & Craft playing in the background, and I thought i’d take the opportunity to update you all on my Snowman and Snowdog Shows.

The range officially launched yesterday at noon, but we did a sneaky peak preview show on Thursday evening, and ever since then it’s been SUPER busy! Everyone has just loved the new Snowman & Snowdog items.

One thing which has been really popular are the new stamp sets. The card below is one that i’ve been showing on the shows each hour we’ve been on, and it’s been coloured with our Spectrum Noir pens. There is a full tutorial from Linda Hill over on our Spectrum Noir blog teaching you how to achieve this background effect.

Yesterday we were showing some of the cards created using our Snowman Embossing Folders. This card below is one of my favorites by Lorraine. She used the Corner design embossing folder in the background, and then two of the stamps from our Snowman acrylic stamp set. There is a whole range of papercrafting elements from the Snowman available on the website.

We also feature projects regularly on our Crafter’s Companion Blog – like the gorgeous little fabric book that you’ll hopefully have seen on air that Doreen created – all the details are over on our blog.

And finally, if you’re looking for more ideas, we have a dedicated Pinterest page for the Snowman range which is just full of inspiration!

And I had to just share this funny picture that I spotted over on our Crafter’s Companion Facebook page… Looks like my husband, while he was supposed to be working on Friday afternoon, was sat watching TV in the office with Louisa!! You know what they say, when the boss is away…!

And I love this picture of me and Leonie just before we launched on Thursday evening!!

If you want to see more pictures from the studio, then i’ve uploaded a gallery on my facebook page

Right, must dash – I have to make myself some breakfast and then head back to the studio ready for another show at 1pm with Martyn which i’m really looking forward to because we haven’t worked together in AGES!! Hope you can join us!!

Big crafty hugs, Sara xxx
