In case you didn’t see it, I shared all the news about my upcoming Signature collection here on my blog the other day. Check it out in this post. I’m REALLY excited about it, and can’t wait to start sharing things with you!
I thought I’d start with a quick and easy tutorial – this card is perfect for so many occasions and you can re-create it in no time!
Supplies for this card:
Here’s what I did for this one:
Step 1: Trim Centura Pearl card to 6 1/2″ square. Matt & layer it on to a 7″x7″ white card blank (I used Sheena’s Stamping card – marvellous stuff!). Next, trim the patterned card to 6 2/8″ x 6 2/8″ and affix to card front with Collall All-Purpose glue.
Step 2: Trim another piece of white card to 6 2/8″ x 6 2/8″. Die-cut the Butterfly Dance die on to the upper left side of card to create an aperture.
Step 3: Emboss the piece you just created (the aperture card) using the Butterfly Corner embossing folder and mount on to card front using our foam pads. (HOW fantastic does that embossing look? Love the deep texture these new folders create- I worked really hard on that bit!)
Step 4: Stamp your sentiment onto white card, matt & layer onto Centura Pearl and affix to card front.
Step 5: Apply Easy Crystal (watch my video about this essential tool by clicking here) to butterfly centre and attach to card front to finish.
It’s that simple, and you’ll have an elegant handmade card in no time!
I’ll be back soon with more tutorials and inspiration! I’d love to her from you… please leave me a comment and tell me what you think of my new collection!
Crafty hugs,
Sara xx
