Tutorial: Festive Stepper Card

Finished project WM

Stepper cards are easy to make and looks magnificent on any mantle or Christmas table! See how Laine created this one below.

Step 1: Cut one sheet of A4 Centura Pearl card lengthwise to made an approx 6” wide card. Die cut both ends of your card with the die of your choice, measuring approx 6” x 2”. Here I have used the Die’sire Beatrice Die from Crafter’s Companion. This will add border detail to the card.

Tip: Use cheap masking tape to attach your die to your card. This will stop your die moving during the cutting process.

Step 2: Using the Score Master or Big Score Scoring Board, score your card at 2”, 3”, 7” on both sides of your cards, to a depth of 1”. Score the middle section at 6”, stopping 1” in from each side edge.

Step 3: Using a scalpel or scissors cut down the two side panels as shown in the picture.

Step 4: Fold as shown, 2” fold is a valley fold, 3” is a mountain and 7” is a valley fold. Fold the middle section of your card at 6” as scored. This is a valley fold.
