It’s coming around to that time of the year when we want to show our lovely Dad’s and Grandad’s just how much we love them. There is no better way to do this than making them a hand made card. Donna shows you how to make this fabulous card yourself in her tutorial below using the Sara Signature ‘Just For Men’ collection!

Step 1 – Create a 13cm square card blank from the black cardstock. Score the front diagonally from one corner to the other and fold to create the base of a twisted easel card.

Step 2 – Cut a 13cm square of card and glue to the front, then cut two 12cm square’s from the patterned paper. Layer these onto white mats and attach to the front and base of the card.

Step 3 – Using the nesting dies from the Accordion set, cut the larger and middle sized scallop’s out of black card. Then cut the two co-ordinating stitched edged circles from the set out of white card.

Step 4 – Stamp some stars from the stamp set, randomly around the edges of both white circles. Then stamp a sentiment in the centre of the smaller circle.

Step 5 – Layer up the stitched circles onto the scallop circles and attach the larger one to the front of the card. Offset it slightly to add some interest.

Step 6 – Using the ‘Grandad’ die, cut 5 out of black card. Then layer on top of each other, to create ‘faux’ chipboard. Once dry, adhere to the centre of the large stitched circle.

Step 7 – Attach the smaller circle to the base of the card using glue gel to create a stopper for the easel.
