Hello again crafters!
We can’t believe another busy month has almost passed by here at the Chesterfield store – we hope you all had a ‘Happy Easter’. Here’s a little round-up of what we’ve been upto over the month.
The beginning of the month saw the launch of our new ‘Dabble Hour’ and we kicked off with a little introduction to rubber stamping. Several of our customers came and joined in, having a go themselves with some of our stamping goodies. The next session is on 22nd May where we will be looking at another aspect of rubber stamping, so why not come along and join us https://uk.bookingbug.com/view/dashboard/index
Some our our younger customers enjoyed lots of Easter crafts, including making cards, painting eggs, and decorating bunnies – I think the mums and dads secretly enjoyed it too!
On the 21st April we welcomed the talented quilting and patchwork expert, Jennie Rayment, to store where she held several workshops throughout the day.
Our weekly sewing club is really taking off now, with a regular group of ladies attending most weeks and enjoying using our education area for all their sewing projects. Here’s our Enid’s fabulous silk work.
The Wool Department
We have now extended our haberdashery section to include a beautiful selection of wool and accessories, so why not pop along to store and take a peek.
Dates for your Diary
Over the weekend of 6th/7th May we have our very own Suzanne Toon demonstrating the latest nesting dies and fabrics from Threaders, together with the ‘Learn to Sew’ purse kits and the Gemini – why not drop by and say hello.
Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May sees our first in-store Craft Fair – keep watching for more details as we have them.
Also, our brand new ‘Magical Makes’ brochure is now available in store and online, detailing all the new classes, clubs and events for the month of May https://uk.bookingbug.com/view/dashboard/index
Well that’s all for now, so crafty hugs until next time.
From everyone at Team Chesterfield
