These stunning new dies are perfect for a variety of occasions! Just look at this fab tutorial Debbie has made to celebrate an engagement.
See how she made it below
Love is in the air and I wanted to make something a bit different for an engagement. I love the red and white look, it always looks clean and striking and is synonymous with love. This die is called “Hallelujah” and is from the new Die’sire Create a Card range. They easily fit a 6″x 6″ card but can also be used to make a larger card.

Hallelujah Create a Card die.
Centura Pearl white with a hint of gold card
Red glitter card from luxury card pack
6″x 6″ flourishes embossing folder from Sara’s Love and Romance range.
Collall all purpose glue, tacky glue and 3D glue gel.
Scoremaster scoring board.
Burgundy red ribbon
Fancy bling gem
Cut a piece of Centura Pearl hint of gold card at 6″ and score and fold in half and then score and fold in half the back section also. Fold it inside out so that the coated side of the card is facing up on the base section.
Cut a piece of red glitter card from the luxury card pack to measure 6″x 6″ and then cut a piece of Centura Pearl to measure slightly less all the way around. I matt and layer by eye but it’s up to you if you want to measure it.
Place your die on the card so that it fits in the centre of the Centura Pearl and cut and emboss it through your preferred machine. Use low tack tape to keep the die in place. Glue the die cut to the red glitter card either using Collall tacky glue or back your Centura Pearl with Stick it before running it through the die cutting machine. I have used Tacky glue on mine.
Place tacky glue on the bottom portion of the folded easel only and attach the die cut with the red glitter card already stuck on.
Cut another piece of red glitter card and white Centura Pearl hint of gold to matt and layer on the bottom section of your easel. Run the white card through your machine with an embossing folder of your choice. I have used a flourish folder from Sara’s Collection Love and Romance range. Stick the white, embossed card to the red glitter card using tacky glue and then add the ribbon of your choice wrapped around the centre. Once you have done this attach the whole thing to the bottom panel of your easel.
Cut some words from the Essential Words collection in glitter card on the white card and white card on the glitter card and attached these using tacky glue. I have placed a bow on the centre of the bottom section to act as my “stopper” and added some pearls to each corner of the back section.
- If you don’t have the pearls to match your project colour them with alcohol pens.
- Use tacky glue which is water based when working with coated card stock so that it doesn’t affect the coating of your card.
