Ribbon Threading with Die’sire

Have you seen our latest range of Die’sire Classique dies? Our new Ribbon Threading dies launched Monday on Hochanda and we haven’t stopped thinking about all the wonderful inspiration we spotted throughout the show!

Check out this wonderful tutorial from Julia to see how we’re using these in our crafting!

Julia used

Grandeur Ribbon Threading Die
Double-sided Centura Pearl Card
Centura Pearl Card in Deep Purple
Luxury Silver Mirri card
Ribbon from your stash at home 10″ per strip
Low tack tape
Red liner tape
Foam pads
Gemini Junior & plates
Paper trimmer

Step 1

With an A5 piece of your white Centura Pearl card place on your ribbon threading die to the outer side of your card approx 1cm from the edge of the card. Hold down with low tack tape and run through your Gemini. I used my metal shim as this is a very intricate die.

Step 2

Move the die along the cardstock evenly 4 times. Taping down and running through your Gemini each time.

Step 3

Trim down your card and matt onto silver mirri card which you should also cut to size. Make an A5 card base with your Deep Purple Centura Pearl card.

Step 4

Thread your ribbon through the die and use a tiny amount of red liner tape at each end to secure.

Step 5

Cut to fit and stick foam pads to the back of your topper to raise from the mirri card and then matt this all onto your card base.

Step 6

Embellish as you like.

Happy crafting,
