Stamp and die-cut the Victorian Lantern, and colour with the Colouring System Markers. Add a touch of sparkle with the Clear Sparkle Pen. Set it aside to dry.
Select your favourite sentiment and stamp it inside your card blank with the Noir Black Inkpad.
Cut a square piece of dark brown card slightly smaller than the card blank (7.75″ square). Cut two pieces of paper from the 12″ x 12″ pad – one that is wider and a narrower strip of complementary paper for the bottom. The measurements in the images shown are 7.5″ x 4.75″ and 7.5″ x 2.5″. There will be a small gap between the paper pieces which will be covered by ribbon.
Ink the edges of card and paper with gold ink on a blending tool, and adhere the papers to the card matting layer.
Using red liner tape on the back of the card matt, adhere a piece of ribbon to where the papers join.
Create another layer for the die-cut image to be added to with lighter brown card and another piece of paper from the 12″ x 12″ pad. Matt layer – 6.5″ x 4″ and paper layer – 6.25″ x 3.75″.
Ink the edges of the paper and adhere on top of the previous layer on the left side, leaving a border.
Glue the whole piece to the card blank, then glue the lantern image to the top left of the second mat and paper later with 3D glue.
Stamp your sentiment in gold ink on stamping card, trim and add to a matt layer of light brown card. Ink the edges and adhere together.
Using the 3D glue, attach the sentiment panel to your card, and while it’s drying, create four poinsettia flowers in various sizes from the Grande Poinsettia Die Set – one using all the dies, one omitting the largest die, one doubling up the smallest and second smallest dies, and one using only the smallest. Emboss them, ink the edges with gold ink and shape with a pokey tool before sticking the layers together with tacky glue.
Cut and emboss plenty of leave in light green card and repeat the inking and shaping process. Cut the foliage and flourishes in dark green and use 3D glue to stick them to your card, along with the flowers.
Finish the card with three half pearl in decreasing sizes in the top left and bottom right corners.
