An introduction to the Gemini Mini - meet your new fun-sized friend

Just like the saying goes, 'great things come in small packages' which has never been more true than for the petite product that we're sharing with you all today. You've seen this little guy teased across social media and popping up in videos, but today's the day that we finally reveal a little bit more about the latest (and cutest) addition to the Gemini family. Say hello to the Gemini Mini!

The younger sibling to the original Gemini, the Junior and the Go is our smallest die-cutting machine to date, so there's always room for this fun-sized friend in any craft room.

What's different about the Gemini Mini?

As the name would suggest, the Gemini Mini is teeny tiny with a die-cutting slot measuring 3", making it perfect for delicate dies and embossing folders. It's also our only manually-powered machine (so far), so you don't need any electricity or batteries - just good, old-fashioned crafter power. Just turn the handle to roll your die-cutting or embossing sandwich through, and you'll be left with the same crisp cut that you know and love from our other machines.

Because of it's small-scale size, this is a brilliant machine for carrying on the go with you. It would fit into almost any carry bag and it's lightweight, so you wouldn't even know it was there! For dinky die-cutting on the move, this is the perfect option.

To reduce any movement whilst you're using the Mini, it has been equipped with suction cup feet, which means it will adhere to any surface. Just stick it down, get your craft on, then wiggle the machine back and forth to release the feet. This gives you the option to die-cut absolutely anywhere in the house, at a craft class or on holiday!

Will there be Gemini Mini accessories available?

Because this is our smallest machine, you won't be able to use our regular cutting plates, so alongside the Mini, you will be able to purchase specially sized plastic folders for die-cutting and embossing, and plastic shims for adding that extra layer of pressure. Each of these measure 6" x 3" - the perfect size for rolling through this pint-sized product.

If we took your fancy with the travel-friendly aspect of the Gemini Mini, you'll absolutely love the miniature Storage Bag that you can purchase! This purple bag is absolutely ideal for slotting your Mini machine into, along with any extra dies or embossing folders that you might like, and carrying with you to classes or on trips. It's also brilliant for storing your machine securely at home - just remember to pop your machine inside at the end of every craft session, and you'll never misplace it!

What about tiny dies and embossing folders?

We couldn't bring out the most adorable machine possible without equipping you with adorable dies and embossing folders to match. You will be able to get your hands on a variety of sentiment and image dies that will fit perfectly inside the machine, along with 6" x 3" embossing folders itty-bitty impressions on your papercraft projects.

Take a look at the images below for a bit of inspiration for these teeny tools.

Can you use regular dies with the Gemini Mini?

Absolutely! As long as your dies will fit into a 6" x 3" plastic folder, there is absolutely no reason why you can't use your existing die stash! In fact, Craig has a whole video about this question, so click play below!
