Welcome to the third installment of our Birthday Week projects! These have been designed to help you get the most out of your free gifts and provide a little bit of inspiration for your future crafting.
For day three, we’re talking about the Summer Spirit Paper Pad, which you’re able to get your hands on today (October 19th) if you spend over £10 on the site. This pad is packed full of beautiful papers in soft, summer shades and subtle patterns, so it’s ideal for seasonal crafting!
Take a look at this step-by-step to see how to create a card like the one below, plus an extra suggestion of how to use the paper pad at the end!
You will need:
- 6″ x 6″ Summer Spirit Paper Pad (free gift)
- 6″ x 6″ card blank
- Stitched Edge Nesting Heart Dies
- Everyday Sentimentals 2 Dies
- Nature’s Garden Sweet William Stamp and Die Set
- Collall All Purpose Glue
- Collall Tacky Glue
- Collall 3D Glue Gel
Cut a 5.5″ x 5.5″ piece of the green ombre paper from the Summer Spirit Paper Pad.
Cut a 5″ x 5″ piece of the plaid paper and carefully tear the edges.
Adhere these on to a 6″ x 6″ card blank using Collall All Purpose Glue.
Tear some strips of patterned paper from the Paper Pad and adhere using the 3D Glue Gel.
Cut two stitched edge hearts in two sizes and adhere them to the card with 3D Glue Gel, adhering the largest first, followed by the smallest.
Cut a sentiment using the Everyday Sentimentals 2 Die set.
Cut and layer three flowers and leaves using the Sweet William Stamp and Die from Nature’s Garden Spring is in the Air.
Add the flowers to the card along with the sentiment using the 3D Glue Gel.
Add some twine and sequins to finish the card off.
