We can’t believe that this is the fifth of our Birthday Week projects already! It’s going way too fast for our liking. This project series has been designed to help you get the most out of your free gifts and provide a little bit of inspiration for your future crafting.
For day five, we’re talking about the Summer Delights Embossing Folder, which you’re able to get your hands on today (October 21st) if you spend over £10 on the site. This folder features a gorgeous repeating flower pattern with sprigs of foliage, so it’s ideal for adding some summer fun into your projects.
Take a look at this step-by-step to see how to create cards like the ones below, plus an extra suggestion of how to use the folder at the end!
You will need:
- Summer Delights Embossing Folder (free gift)
- Coloured parchment paper
- Gemini die-cutting and embossing machine
- White cardstock
- White card blank
- White ribbon
- Adhesive pearls
- Collall All Purpose Adhesive
Cut a piece of your favourite coloured parchment paper to fit the embossing folder and slot it inside.
Run the embossing folder through your Gemini machine, then remove the parchment and adhere it to a piece of white cardstock.
Wrap white ribbon around your cardstock and secure in place with the All Purpose Adhesive. Attach this panel on to your white card blank.
Add a bow to your ribbon and adhesive pearls into the centres of your flowers.
