Welcome back to another exciting edition of our weekly Watch Along Wednesday series! We’re well on the way to Christmas now, so we thought it was time to go all out with the festivities. To get us into the spirit, this post is all about the Christmas Background Layering Stamps. which have been purposefully designed to help you create backgrounds with stunning 3D effects.
In the video below, David Falcon uses the Jolly Gingerbread set to add adorably delicious sweet treats to a panel. Going against the Christmas grain of red and green, he opts for blue to really make the design pop! Of course, these stamps are super versatile and you can totally customise the colours to your preferences – there are no rules!
Hit play on the video below to see how the stamps work and how David puts together his final card.
Each set of three acrylic stamps have been designed to work together to produce a stunning background with an almost 3D-like effect. You can either use these stamps in numerical order to produce an adorable background scene, or you can mix and match the stamps for a more abstract approach.
Other available sets include:
Snowflake Medley – a fabulous flurry of snowflakes
Mistletoe Moments – a panel that’s packed with mistletoe sprigs
Festive Holly – beautiful sprigs of holly
Beautiful Baubles – an art deco-style bauble design
Winter Pine – branches of a pine tree with gorgeous pine cones
These stamps are made from the highest quality clear acrylic, which means that you can see straight through the stamp to line up the image accurately. Just adhere each stamp to an acrylic block or Rock-a-Block and stamp away, either following the numbers printed in the corners or mixing and matching!
Try using soft colours for a more subtle background or pair these stamps up with vivid inks for a punchy look. They’re perfect for cardmaking, scrapbooking and so much more, so they’re perfect for your papercrafting stash!
