Let It Snow Foil Stamp Card

Crafter's Companion – 08/10/20

This flurry of foiled snowflakes will add an elegant shimmer to any festive mantlepiece! The easel card design gives an amazing mirror effect, meaning that the Let It Snow Foil Stamp design will glint and glimmer from any angle.

You will need:

Step 1

Cut two pieces of white card 3.75″ x 5.75″. Cut one piece of white card 1.75″ x 2.25″.

Step 2

Foil the two pieces of card using the gold foil and Let It Snow snowflake stamps. Foil the smaller piece of card with the ‘Let It Snow’ sentiment.

Step 3

Use the Water Reactive Inkpads to add colour to the edges of each piece of foiled card. Start with the Ocean Blue shade, moving from the edges towards the centre of the card. Then accentuate the edges with the Midnight shade.

Step 4

Cut four gold mats, two measuring 4″ x 6″, two measuring 4.125″ x 6.125″ and one small gold mat 0.125″ larger than the foiled card with the ‘Let It Snow’ sentiment. Next, cut out two white mats measuring 4.5” x 6.5” and one measuring 5” x 7”, this will be the front of the card. Layer up the mats in descending size order.

Step 5

Create the easel base by cutting a 14” x 5” piece of A3 white card. Score along the short edge at the 7” and 3.5” point and fold the score lines. Glue below the 3.5” fold and attach to the front of the card, (the 5” x 7” mat). Stick the other layered mat to the other end of the easel base.

Step 6

Use the Sparkling Snowflake die set to cut 4 snowflakes and layer them up. Cut four sprigs from the Festive Foliage die set, two in gold and two in Pearl Snow White Gold. Arrange the snowflake and the sprigs and attach to the base to create a stopper for the easel card.4
