Balloon Stamp and Die party invitation

Crafter's Companion – 25/10/20

What’s a birthday without balloons? And what’s a birthday invitation without balloon embellishments? Add a little lift to your next party invitation project with the brilliant Balloon Sentiment Stamp and Die sets! Each of these sets features a sentiment that’s ideal for practically any occasion, but they can also be paired up with the Balloon Alphabet sets for complete customisation.

In this project, you’ll discover how to make this super simple invitation in the bright shades of pink, yellow and blue. It’s a quick and easy project that’s ideal for both beginners and experts alike!

You will need:

Step 1

Make a card base measuring 8.25″ x 5.85″ using white cardstock. This should be a card base that opens vertically as opposed to a traditional horizontal card.

Step 2

Matt and layer using the fuchsia and canary Centura Pearl card, then layer with your favourite paper from the paper pad.

Step 3

Die cut the largest two Banner Dies in the fuchsia and canary Centura Pearl, then matt and layer on top of one another.

Step 4

Using your Opaque Pigment Inkpads, stamp out your Party sentiment and embellishments. With the co-ordinating dies, carefully align against the stamped images and run them through your die-cutting machine.

Step 5

Finish off with a bow and gem to match your colours, and secure them with hot glue.
